Sunes Burger & Ice, also known simply as Sunes Burger or Sunes Burgerbar, was a café in Skive run by married couple Jørgen and Karen Margrethe Sunesen.
The store opened on June 5, 1980, at Nørregade 13. The store initially focused on the authentic American experience and freshly baked bread.
In 1984, Karen Margrethe’s restaurant “Jens Vejmand” on Nørregade 15 closed, after which Sunes Burger & Ice moved into the address. At the same time, the menu was expanded with parts of “Jens Vejmand”‘s range.
The business ceased in 2004, when Sports Partner took over the address.
Sunes Burger & Ice was perhaps best known in Skive for their Milkshakes. Popularly known under the name “Sunes Milkshakes”, which will continue at Bonbonnieren in Skive in 2024, under the same name and with the same machines.
