Peder Christian Jensen (also written Peder Kristian Jensen, and known as P.C. Jensen) was a merchant / grocer in Skive from 1921-1944.
Jensen was born in Fabjerg, Skodborg Herred on May 24, 1884. He immigrated to Skive around 1921 where he opened “PC. Jensen Kolonial Korn & Foderstoffer” on Frederiksgade 13. Jensen ran this grocery store until 1928/29, when the business, like many others in Skive, became entangled in the collapse of Skive Bank and no longer appears in the tax books.
Jensen runs a grocery store again from 1935/36, the first year from Holstebrovej 8, but from 1936/37 and until 1943/44 from Asylgade 2. Jensen subsequently retires, but remains at Asylgade 2 until his death.
Jensen married Marie Borup Jensen in 1911, with whom he had 3 children Harry, Aksel and Svend.
