Adelgade

The nameAdelgade probably originates from a transformation of Algade, which is found in many Danish cities. The meaning can be found in the fact that it was the main public street. This indicates that Adelgade has been the center of life in Skive city from its medieval beginnings to the present day, where it still functions as a primary pedestrian street.

Interesting addresses

At the northern end was the market square and town hall. Along the street are several old buildings built by merchants during the 19th century. Some of them can be highlighted
