He can be found in the 1901 census, in Nørregade 30, together with his wife and photographer Jenny Jensen, and daughter Eva Louise.

He ran a photographic business with his wife wherever they lived from 1894-1914.

Martin Jensen emigrated to New York in 1891, but returned a few years later, where he married Jenny Jensen on August 30, 1894 in Søllerød.

Jenny Jacobine Jensen (17.07.1864-1.5.1953), had a photo shop in Skive 1893-1894 in Nørregade 30.

Martin is a descendant of photographer and master painter Jens Jacob Jensen and his wife.
