Active as a photographer : Probably only in 1891,
as the only advertisements regarding photography
are from 1891, and anything else found with him
has only to do with his painting profession.

Ca. 1880-1885 : Copenhagen (unknown if he worked as a photographer there)
Ca. 1885-1893 : Møllegade in Skive. (Painter and photographer)
Ca. 1893- up to the 1930s in Gedsted (Probably only as a painter here)
Occupation :
He was primarily a painter (master painter), and tried his hand at
photography in the early 1890s.
Other :
Son of Christian Olesen, a servant, and Ane Marie Larsdatter.
In the 1901 census it appears that he and his wife
Laurine (b. October 9, 1856, Nibe By, Aalborg County) were married
in 1880 and the family moves from Skive in 1893 to Gedsted,
Rinds herred. They had a total of 4 children.
They were also in Copenhagen for a period, probably from the end of the
1870s to 1885, as 3 of the children are listed as born there,
and the last was born in Gedsted.
