He took portrait photos, genre photos (The Skater in 1914), topographical photos
photos, and postcards. He also exhibited locally in Skive in 1912.
He did not have a studio for portrait photography, but instead went out and photographed people in their surroundings, either at work or at home. The negative came on a glass plate, which he developed in the kitchen in Vestergade 11.
