He was a photographer’s assistant in the beginning at photographer P. Hadrup (Peder Hansen Hadrup)
in Nørregade, who became his father-in-law when he later married his daughter,
Esther Hadrup. (f. 16.12.1890).
He was born Jensen, and was a photographer under that name until 1907 when he was allowed to use
the name Hadrup as his business name. In Skive Folkeblad, on June 22, 1907, there was
published a notice that Photographer Jensen had been granted permission to use the name
Hadrup.
He subsequently changed his own name to Hadrup in around 1908.
He was known for negatives on glass / factory plates.
