C.B.N. Christensen was a pharmacist in Skive, where he opened the new pharmacy“Svane apoteket“.
Originally from the Hobro area, Christensen was educated in Frederiksberg and worked in Copenhagen until he was granted a license to open a new pharmacy in Skive. In 1918, he opened the Swan Pharmacy or “the new pharmacy” as it was called on Nørregade.
Christensen was chairman of the conservative voters’ association, chairman of the Skive Tourist and Beautification Association, and representative of the Royal Danish Automobile Club. For two periods he was chairman of the Equalization Commission (municipal commission for calculation and complaints about taxes), of which he was a member from 1921.
Christensen and his wife were considered very well-traveled, most often to Italy.
He died on February 21, 1941, 73 years old.
