Harry Albertsen was a fire inspector and civil defense inspector in Skive in the years 1963-1986.
Originally from Randers where he was city architect and fire assistant.
In 1963 he became a fire inspector where he succeeded Bernhard Jensen who retired.
During his time as fire inspector, Albertsen was responsible for major expansions. The relocation of the fire station from its old location on Møllegade to the new fire station on Engvej at the turn of 1978/9. Under his leadership, the number of extinguishing vehicles was increased from 3 to 18.
Albertsen was succeeded as fire inspector by Peter Kümmel.
Albertsen had a great interest in sports (especially football), and in Skive he held positions of trust in Skive Idræts Forening, where he was chairman for two years.
Albertsen married his wife Ruth on September 28, 1938.
