Frederik Kloch, often called “Fritz”, trained carpenter and city councilor in Skive.
Trained by master joiner Isager in Skive. Later opened his own carpentry workshop in Skive. For a short time, the workshop was located at Vestergade 25, but soon expanded to a large shop at Møllegade 20.
During his time, Kloch held several positions of trust and was a member of Skive City Council in the period 1891-1898. He was a member of the board and vice chairman of “Den nye Borger- og Haandværkerforening”.
In 1857, Kloch married Pouline Rosine Nørager, with whom he had 9 children, including his son and heir to the joinery business Frederik Kloch (junior).
